I have been very impressed
with Diane’s highly professional approach to
her work. In everything she does she displays warmth
and openness. Through all her work Diane has a high
ethical and consistent manner. Diane provided exceptional
guidance and support to me in preparing for a new
position that I was applying for. Subsequently she
has coached my Senior Leadership Team as they developed
as a new team and as individual Leaders. Diane is
adept at coaching people to be effective leaders.

Diane provided a focused discussion
in an open but confidential environment. Not blame
or shame based, it was Goal focused with accountability
mechanisms built in. It was solution focused that
built leadership capability. The benefits of coaching
provided is ongoing even when the face to face part
stops. I’m still applying the principles and
strategies learned.

While recently reassessing
my future working professional career I was fortunate
enough to have consulted with Diane Smith. The sessions
consolidated realistic ideas on roles that I see myself
doing and really changed the way I think about myself.
They were so beneficial that I now have a plan in
place for a definite career change. I have focus and
an inner confidence that any changes I make are well
considered and well thought through. Without Diane’s
capable help I would still be considering options,
procrastinating over the pros and cons of roles I
have thought about for some time, still reading self
help books but feeling stuck and not making any progress.
I found this to be a most rewarding and transforming
experience.

When I first met Diane I was
unsatisfied in my career but didn’t know what
I would rather be doing. By evaluating my core values
and assessing things I enjoyed it became clear to
me I would like to be a Nurse. As a result I am now
studying a Bachelor of Nursing. With Diane’s’
help I am now very satisfied in my career choice.

In having 1:1 sessions with

my values and tools to move towards my ideal future.

Diane helps you to identify
your strengths and work on the areas that are problematic
in your life. When you know who you are and what is
important to you, it is easy to work out your goals
and create a plan for your future. Working with Diane
is like having a conversation with an old friend,
but developing your future direction at the same time.
The best thing is that at the end of the process you
have a new toolbox of skills to help you follow your
new direction.

The benefits of coaching allowed
me to make and set goals and see them through. I had
to think through and answer “harder questions”.
It also helped me gain a perspective on the skills
I have gained through teaching. Diane is approachable,
listens well, friendly, great sense of humour, knowledgeable,
firm but caring, consistent, persistent and helpful.

I would highly recommend Diane
to any person requiring high quality coaching for
work or personal reasons.
Diane established a positive rapport quite quickly
in a warm, friendly, approachable manner. Her professionalism
and focus enabled me to achieve my personal objectives
from the six sessions I received. I thank Diane for
her expertise conveyed in a fun manner.

I found Diane’s clear,

I would recommend forgetting New Year’s

Diane allowed me to recognize
that I had the ability to control, who I was and where
I was going, by really examining me as a person and
in turn my personal goals. Where I wanted to go and
what I loved about who I was with my interests and
hobbies. She also opened me up to the world in general
and pointed out, gently, if you race through life
you don’t just miss the bad opportunities but
the good ones also will pass you by. Diane helped
me slow down and examine the wood as well as the trees!
By our 3rd appointment I had made some major
decisions in my then life : (1) I had submitted 2
stories to national Creative Writing Competitions;
(2) applied to be a contestant for MasterChef NZ Series
2; and (3) was going to write a screenplay and win
an Oscar!
I am the MasterChef Runner Up, 2nd Best Amateur
Chef in New Zealand, 2011. I am the Director of my
own brand Jax Hamilton Limited. I am happy beyond
measure, and because of Diane’s careful guidance,
recognize the huge abilities within myself to achieve
over and above what I think I can!
Today Diane is a close family friend and will
be one of the first people on my list to attend my
Oscar winners’ party!

After 16 years out of the fulltime
workforce and having to return to full time employment
I was struggling with creating an up to date CV. Diane
helped enormously, pulling information out of what
I was verbalising and created a credible and professional
document. Diane’s coaching was invaluable and
assisted me through a transition phase in my professional
and personal life. Diane quickly got to know me and
seemed to ask the right questions to allow me to find
my own solutions. Realistic goals were encouraged
to be set and accountability ensured these were able
to be met. After just 5 sessions I am now back in
the fulltime workforce, even though we are in the
middle of a recession, due in no small part to Diane’s
support and encouragement.

As a mum thinking of returning
to the workforce, I found Diane’ Workshop invaluable.
I found the Career Anchor exercise of particular value
as it really brought forward some work values that
are important to me but which I hadn’t given
much thought to previously. I found Diane to be a
thoughtful and clear workshop leader with a nice sense
of humour. She also displayed genuineness in helping
people find their career path. I left the workshop
feeling real clarity about the direction I want to
head in, what I need from my future career and confidence
that I can achieve my goals. Six months after attending
the workshop I have made a number of steps towards
achieving my goal of becoming a fashion designer.
I am enrolled in an online fashion design course,
a dressmaking evening class and hope to take on a
full-time diploma course at CPIT next year. I don’t
believe I would have had the confidence and self belief
to follow this slightly unexpected career change (for
a history graduate and former personal assistant)
had I not attended Diane’s workshop.

Diane’s coaching has
been one of the best things happening to me since
my arrival here in New Zealand. Diane is a warm and
empathetic and maintains a superb level of rapport
throughout her sessions. She keeps you in a place
of trust and resourcefulness, whether your issue may
be personal or career related.
Diane possesses an amazing variety of professional
tools and in depth experience
as a coach and practitioner. Her own dedication to
personal and professional excellence is invigorating.
The transformational energy created during our sessions
will stay with me on a deeper level. It is with all
my heart that I recommend Diane and her services to
anyone who is dedicated to change and growth in this
world.
I
feel privileged to have also worked alongside Diane
and am looking forward to future projects together.

I used Diane’s services
for support in developing myself and my business as
a coach by integrating my NLP skills in particular
as she has extensive training in this area. Diane
has a very calm and methodical approach to coaching
and she was able to support me in accessing the most
beneficial state to be in with any challenge I brought
for discussion. She asked me great questions to get
clear on what the issue really was, and as a result
I was able to create a very clear action plan to implement
from our call. I felt more focused and confident in
my ability to develop my business and have no hesitation
in recommending Diane in her role as coach.

Diane made me realise right
from the beginning, that our session’s may not
be easy. She was right, but that was the great aspect.
It made me question who I am, what I what to be and
how I achieve it. This wasn’t some counselling
session where you are made to look at the past, instead
it focused on the now and future which is exactly
what I needed. Thanks Diane and much appreciated.

I found that Diane lead us
through a well organised 4 days of training (a fortnight
apart), that build on the skills gradually. She demonstrated
great use of the skills she was teaching us, and provided
lots of opportunities to practice the skills as we
went along. This is a course I would recommend to
anyone.
